Activision/Treyarch announced that DLC will be sold and not given for BlackOps.
Due to events in history paid dlc does usually mean that there will not be any modtools since that would interfere with business. Why pay for something that we modders and mappers give for free

if u remember correctly, it was orginially going to be sold for WaW as well, until nVidia stepped in and paid for the first map pack release for WaW. Maybe they could do it again.

This will kill the COD series on PC if their is no mod tools.
If the PC gamers get remakes of MW2. The games like Black Ops will last 3 months and people will move on to new game or new hobbies
The Call of Duty Series as we use to know it looks like a dead fish
It was the PC gamers that made the COD series what it is today and Activision has forgotten who made them successful.

Well we still have Brink and Red Orchestra 2 with mod tools fingers crossed

OK well as long as we have Dedicated servers and as long as STEAM isnt in the plan to check integrity i think we all know we should still be able to mod.... Fastfile, even for MW2 were decompiled quite quick!
